Children's Ministry
The purpose of the children’s ministry is to offer your children a place of amazement and discovery as they are taught Bible truths. Children’s Ministry leaders seek to create an environment that is both educational and entertaining. The idea of worship is to capture your child’s imagination, intrigue them, and set them on a course of discovery. All leaders have completed a screening process in compliance with our Children & Youth Ministry Workers policy.
KidzWorship
KidzWorship (kindergarten to grade 6) is where the children participate in their own age appropriate worship where they can belong to the family of God, grow in their relationship with Christ, learn to serve and then go share Christ in their neighbourhood. Age-appropriate curriculum reflects the vision and objectives of the larger community of faith.
Pioneer Clubs
Pioneer Clubs is a mid-week program (Wednesday) that is Bible-based, relationship-focused, and fun for kids and leaders. The program is geared to children in grades 1 through 6.
Vacation Bible School
Every July Bayfair holds a Vacation Bible School for children in kindergarten to grade 6. This morning program is packed full of fun, songs, crafts and biblical learning geared for each age group. Memories are created and the children have learned principles to take with them.
Nursery/ Preschool Care
Nursery care is provided for infants/toddlers aged newborn to 36 months. The large, bright, fully-equipped nursery is located on the main level. Toddlers have their own program in the same area. Safety is a top priority and security procedures permit only the person who checks the child in to check him/ her out of the nursery or pre-school area. A team of loving care givers is dedicated to nurturing each child physically, emotionally and spiritually. Children learn about God’s love for them through stories, songs and fun activities designed just for little ones.
Baby Dedication
A baby dedication is a commitment to raise and nurture a child according to God’s word and God’s ways through teaching, example, discipline and prayer. This pledge of the parents to commit themselves and their child to God includes providing every opportunity and encouragement to the child to make their own personal commitment to being a well- rounded Christian individual as God intends him/her to be. The congregation also promises to support and pray for the family as they raise their child. Baby dedications are scheduled during the Sunday morning service several times a year.
