Encouragers 50+ group meets on a monthly basis. Our next meeting is Tuesday October 28 at 10:30. This group is for people 50+ to enjoy each other’s fellowship and to hear from a guest speaker on matters pertaining to practical Christian life.
In October we have Laurie Atkins returning to present her Musical Drama “Be Free”. Come out and witness the story of Mary Magdalene, a woman filled with 7 demons, who encounters Jesus’ forgiveness, healing and freedom. Mary becomes a follower and believer in Jesus as the Messiah. She witnesses a change in people as they hail him king one day, then watches him hang on the cross one week later. His only crime was the love he showed people. Three days later at the tomb she discovers his body is gone. Weeping, Jesus appears and entrusts her with the message - He has risen from the dead!
