Bio
I was born in Italy married my wife Marg in 1976. God blessed us with three children, two son-in-laws and five Grandchildren.
In1990, I received Jesus as my Savior under the guidance of Dave Rae. Two years later I told God that we would evangelize the Italian community in Toronto, which is over 500,000, but God had other plans.
We lived in Pickering at that time, and I shared God's love with Alutario a Mexican migrant worker across the street from us. The following summer we had a barbeque in our backyard and 50 migrate workers attended. God gave us many Great volunteers and for next five years we had Spanish Bible studies in our home. Until one day we had over 75 people and 60 Mexicans migrate workers in our home. We needed to relocate and Rossland Ridge Bible Chapel in Ajax offered their space. For many years we held ESL classes and Spanish Bible studies there, and some migrant workers received Jesus as their Savior.
During that time Marg and I, with the help of former Canadian volunteers, met again in Mexico and visited approx.15 workers and their families. Many received Jesus as their Lord and Savior and one entire family of 14 prayed the Prayer of Salvation. On this trip we witnessed an opportunity to help build a much needed church.
After much planning I finally went with the first team from Canada to Cujhingo, Estado de Mexico in 2012. and after many annual trips their roof was installed. In 2017 a second church building was again started with a Canadian team. Once again this project developed from the connection with a Migrant worker's friendship with us from all the years of Bible Studies, ESL classes and fellowship gatherings, such as barbeques, soccer tournaments, Christian movie nights and Spanish Church Services together in Canada and in Mexico.
On March 4, 2020 the latest team come back to Canada and Covid hit. Since then we continued to financially support the second church in Temamatla Estado de Mexico. In 2019 Marg and I had met a Missionary named Florentina when we visited Pedro a migrate worker and his family. in Ayahuatulco, Estado de Guerrero de Mexico. At this time we found out that they were also planning to build a church for their community. By God's provision we have been able to financially support them.
Before covid we have had 10 annual soccer tournaments, where we had 200 migrate workers participate each year.
At the present time there are five Canadian Spanish churches involved with migrant workers from various farms, that we helped, encouraged and introduced to each other.
Over 25 years Marg and I have travelled to Mexico for missionary Biblical encouragement to Canadian Mexican migrant workers and their families. With various missionary teams I have travelled twice each of these years.. We,.ALL, always come home feeling VERY blessed and we plan to continue our venture in the near future.(God Willing).
